ANIMAL CONTROL

Animal Control is responsible for investigating animal cruelty complaints, advise on nuisance wildlife problems, and to enforce Township ordinances pertaining to animals. 

  • Lost and found animals are kept at the Romulus Animal Shelter located at 12300 Wayne Road, Romulus, Michigan 48174. Phone: (734) 942-7591.
  • In order to pick up your dog you must have up to date shot & rabies records

FERAL CATS
Van Buren Township does not pick-up feral cats, contact a private animal control business that specializes in feral cats.
