WAYNE COUNTY TO BEGIN ROAD RESURFACING PROJECTS IN VAN BUREN TOWNSHIP ON
JUNE 10

WAYNE COUNTY, MI – Wayne County Department of Public Services has announced the paving schedule and traffic plan for several key intersections within Van Buren Township. The projects are scheduled to begin on June 10, 2024, subject to weather conditions and unforeseen delays.

The list of projects and paving schedule is as follows:

Monday June 10, 2024

I-94 N Service Drive – Westbound Deceleration Lane between Morton Taylor & Haggerty Roads.

  • The road resurfacing project is scheduled for a one-day duration.
  • Traffic flow will alternate in both directions using stop-and-go operations.
  •  Flaggers will be present to direct traffic.
  • There will be no turns permitted onto I-94 N Service Drive from Morton Taylor and Haggerty Roads.
  •  Drivers are advised to find an alternative route.
