Starting in the spring of 2021 Wayne County Roads Division will be resurfacing and paving select roadways in Van Buren Township.  Please note road sweeping will be conducted in May, August, and October in Van Buren Township. 

Please seek alternate routes and expect delays for the following road work projects: 

1. Traffic Signal work at Hannan & North Line: begins this Spring and ends in the Fall of 2021
2. Resurfacing at Haggerty & I-94 N. Service Drive - Tyler: begins this Spring and ends in the Fall of 2021
3. Resurfacing  at I-94 N. Service Drive, West of Haggerty: begins Monday, September 20, 20210 and projected to end in the Fall of 2021
4. Resurfacing at Ecorse Rd (Haggerty - Morton Tyler): begins this Spring and ends in the Fall of 2021
5. Resurfacing and Paving will begin on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at Huron River Drive (Martinsville Road – Railroad, East of Edison Lake Road) 
6. Bridge Closure at Huron River Dr Bridge; Huron River Dr/ Haggerty North and South: estimated completion date of Summer 2021.
